Who we are

St. Mary’s is a diverse parish dedicated to seeking Christ and being witnesses of his grace and love. We are an Episcopal church in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, and are a part of the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona.

As a parish community, we value reverent sacramental worship and gracious hospitality. We seek to love our neighbors as ourselves and respect the dignity of every person. We believe in amendment of life, the forgiveness of sin, and life everlasting. At St. Mary’s, we believe one can hold orthodox Christian faith and live a life of traditional Christian devotion while also affirming LGBTQ+ individuals. LGBTQ+ people are represented at all levels of our parish’s governance and membership. This is not an issue of ideology or identity politics for St. Mary’s parishioners, but a recognition that all are made in the image and likeness of God.
