The Rev. Samantha Iversen-Suárez
Priest-in-Charge
Mother Samantha Iversen-Suárez joined St. Mary's as our Priest-in-Charge in July of 2025.
An Ohio native, Mtr. Samantha discerned her call to ordained ministry while a member of the Episcopal Service Corps in Tucson. She holds a BA in Political Science from the Ohio State University, a Master of Divinity degree from Yale University, and a Diploma in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale.
Before her call to ministry, Mtr. Samantha worked on local and state-wide campaigns in Ohio and in academic administration. In her free time, Mtr. Samantha enjoys drinking good coffee, reading queer theory and science fiction, and cooking. She is a member of the Society of Catholic Priests, and lives in Phoenix with her spouse and their two cats
