Thanksgiving     2019

Thanksgiving at St Mary’s begins with a contemplative Low Mass in the Chapel at 10:00am. This is a perfect way to center oneself and give personal thanks to God before the pressures of the day begin to occupy our minds with visions of cranberry, pumpkin pie, casseroles, turkey, ham, and mashed potatoes.

The Parish Thanksgiving Dinner will be served at 12:00pn following the service. Menu is planned to be Turkey with dressing and ham, and this year we are asking for you to bring a favorite side dish - anything from dessert to a drink.

All are invited! We do not want anyone to be alone on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving     Prayer

Almighty and gracious Father, we give you thanks for the fruits of the earth in their season and for the labors of those who harvest them. Make us, we pray, faithful stewards of your great bounty, for the provision of our necessities and the relief of all who are in need, to the glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
