The Mass is the oldest form of Christian worship, where we hear teaching from Holy Scripture and receive Holy Communion. It is also called the Lord's Supper, the Sacrament, the Divine Liturgy, or the Eucharist, which means Thanksgiving.
Worship is at the heart of everything we do as Christians, and part of our mission at St. Mary's is to offer our best to God through art and music.
You are invited to experience the beauty of the Mass anytime you wish. After the service, please feel free to stay for coffee, grab a bite to eat, and meet the people of St. Mary's. We will be honored to have you as our guest!
Wednesday at 9:00am
Many people like to attend Mass at some point during the week as well as on Sundays. If
you’re one of those people, please join us Wednesday mornings when we add Holy Communion to our normal service of Morning Prayer (Matins). The whole service lasts approximately 35 minutes and our usual post-Matins coffee, cookies, and conversation follows in the Parish House. Everyone is welcome!
Pray the Rosary
Sundays at 9:00am in the Chapel
The rosary is a prayer, a meditation on the life of Jesus and Mary using passages from Holy Scripture.
Every Sunday before Mass, a group gathers in the Chapel at the front of the church to pray the rosary. This is a quiet time for preparing and opening our hearts to hear God's word more deeply.
Rosaries are provided for everyone. You are also welcome to sit back and listen.
10 minutes after Mass on Sundays
We are blessed with several Benedictine brothers and sisters at St. Mary's. Noonday prayer is led by Brother Jeffrey every Sunday after coffee hour at noon in the Chapel of the Holy Cross. A short lesson from St. Benedict's rule is read along with scripture. The service lasts 10 to 15 minutes. Everyone is welcome!
9:00am, Monday - Saturday in the Chapel
Prayer is central to our lives as Christians, and praying the Daily Office is central to our faith as Anglican Christians. Morning and Evening Prayer are a way for us to "pray without ceasing," as we are commanded to do.
Morning Prayer is a contemplative and joyful service. It consists of a series of prayers, hymns, and lessons from Holy Scripture. We ask for God's forgiveness and pray for grace in the work we have to do that day. On Wednesdays, it is followed by Low Mass.
Please join us for Morning Prayer whenever you are able, and take a quiet moment to sit with God before starting your day. You'll be glad you did.
5:00pm, Monday - Friday in the Chapel
Evening Prayer is the other main part of the Daily Office. Like Morning Prayer, it is also a simple, spoken service with prayers, psalms, and lessons from scripture.
People gather in the Chapel to close the day together, to give thanks to God for good things, and to make peace with what is past. You are welcome to pray, read along, or listen.
Compline is part of the monastic Hours of Prayer. It is a short, sung candlelight prayer service at the very end of the day. You can think of it as "bedtime prayers."
Compline is a beautiful, rich liturgy drawing on thousands of years of scripture and sacred Christian music. It has been sung in churches, cathedrals, and monasteries around the world. We offer Compline services at St. Mary's for special occasions throughout the year by announcement.
